Part 10/10
For over two years, we worked closely with the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg on the HIRAC research project. The project is now in its final phase and we are proud to announce that the project will soon be successfully completed. We will keep a close eye on how our joint work will then have an impact in the industrial and social sectors and we will of course keep you up to date!
In this series, we have given you a comprehensive insight into the complex HIRAC (Hardware Independent Robotic Assistance Controller) research project. We have now successfully completed most of the steps and are in the final phase. In addition to many successes, there were also some challenges.
Our project will officially end in a few months. Due to the complex tasks and time-consuming problem solving, our system is still in its beginning stage. The first tasks should be executable and work without problems even with different hardware. These tasks include image processing and localization of objects, gripping, lifting and placing objects as well as pouring and handing a glass of water.
Thanks to the integrated artificial intelligence and machine learning, learning new tasks should become easier and faster. This means that our system can learn new things in a short period of time, become faster and faster through training and the areas of application can therefore grow steadily.
