Point Clouds and Formats
With Mesh-Editor, you can visualize and edit point clouds and 3D mesh data. We support the STL, Collada, DWG, and DXF file formats. Thanks to its modern and ergonomic user interface, even novice users can quickly learn how to use Mesh-Editor to achieve their objectives.
Use
Mesh-Editor offers a variety of possible uses. It can be implemented in areas as diverse as dental medicine, survey data processing, preparations for 3D printing, modeling for art and jewelry design, and much more.
It can be used as a standalone program or embedded as a component into existing programs. Functions, user interfaces, and file formats can be added or expanded as needed.

Dental Medicine
CAD / CAM programs are an inherent part of dental medicine today. Where previously it was necessary to make a dental impression in order to model implants, today we can use lasers to record the patient's teeth as a point cloud.
Surveying
Laser-aided surveying for building design and construction or for landscape imaging also produces results that are stored as point clouds. There also exist mobile systems in which a laser is installed on a car and which combine various images into one. Additionally, photographs can be used to define the colors for the point clouds. In this way, color differentiation can help preserve an overview of a complex cloud of more than 100,000 or a million points.
3D Printing
3D printing is all the rage today, as is the "Internet of Things." Printing is done from a model that has been drawn in a CAD program or scanned using a laser.
Customization
Mesh-Editor can be customized for any field of application and can be expanded as needed.
