This year, we were again happy to support the horse show here at the Mundenhof in Freiburg with a sponsorship. We are pleased that we were able to hold the May tournament of the riding club 99 in Freiburg again after two years of pandemic-related break.
In bright sunshine on 07 and 08 May 25,000 visitors came to the event and enjoyed the wide range of activities for young and old.
At the horse show there were competitions in show jumping and dressage up to class L, which is absolutely spectacular for adults and children. The little visitors received coloring books from us, which they colored right on the spot, which of course made us very happy.
We are very happy with the organizers that the weather for the horse show was so good and that there was such a great turnout and a great weekend. We will be happy to participate again next year.
Did you know: The Reitclub 99 e. V. was founded in 1970 in Freiburg-West and moved into the Mundenhof in 1974. The basic idea of the club is to enable horse lovers to become horse owners at low cost. The person makes his or her own horse available for riding lessons and in return receives reduced stall rent and partial care of the horse, thus reducing the amount of time the owner has to spend.
The riding students learn not only how to ride, but also everything that is necessary for the welfare of the horses, such as horse care, saddling, paddocking, care of the equipment, etc., in order to be able to keep their own horse later on.
We visited the open day on May 1. Here, among other things, the young talents presented their skills in dressage, vaulting, jumping and carriage riding. Since the riding club is very concerned about the youth, the club always offers tests for the young riders.
